MonitorISA
“Strike on stroke”
MonitorISA is a quality monitoring program conducted by Italian Stroke Association (ISA) and the Angels team that SITS supports by giving the hospitals and doctors the opportunity for comparison and improvement in their stroke care.
Optimizing the quality of stroke management is a common goal globally. The Angels Initiative supports the Italian Stroke Association (ISA-AII) in spreading the culture of quality monitoring among hospitals. Monitoring the quality of stroke pathways is essential to improve the effectiveness of patient care to achieve excellence. ISA-AII promotes the so called “MonitorISA” quality improvement program in order to determine periodically the status of stroke management in Italy, and therefore evaluate and improve the quality of the treatments offered. The program is designed to ensure the best care possible for all stroke patients.
