FAQ

In this page you can view our most frequently asked questions. If you cannot find the help you need there, contact us at info@sitsinternational.org

Please be aware that our response time is typically 2 – 3 business days.

Usually, the problem lies with your e-mail or telephone operator. Please check your spam folder in your email to begin with. If you have changed your email or phone number recently, and it stopped working you may need SITS help. To change an email or phone number we will have to validate your account. This is done by the local, regional or national coordinator. Please put them in copy when you email us, and ask them to validate your account to save time.

If you have forgot your password, you can reset it by going to SITS Registry login page and click on the “Forgot your password?” link. On that page, you enter your e-mail address that is registered at your SITS Registry user account, submit it and you will receive instructions on how to reset your password. If you know your password, but want to change it, see How can I change my password?

When you have submitted your application to us, you will receive a confirmation email that we at SITS have received your application and are awaiting approval from your hospital or National coordinator. If you still haven’t received your login details after one week, please check with your Local coordinator at your hospital or the National coordinator. Make sure to also check your spam for any emails regarding your application. For further assistance please contact SITS INTERNATIONAL.

Enter data

To delete patients in the registry you need to be a local-, regional- or national coordinator.
Local users can not delete patients. If you are a local user, please ask your local coordinator to perform the task.

1. Go to your patient list, etiher “My patients” or “My SITS QR patients” depending on what type of patient you would like to delete. These options are displayed in the left side menu.

2. Click on “delete” to your furthers right.

  1. Click on your name in the upper right corner.
  2. Click on centre settings
  3. Scroll down to “DATA FORMS“. Choose the protocol of your choice!

Note! Do not forget that if you enable SITS QR, above there is some boxes you may have to check. For example, if you would like to participate in Angels Award; you need to approve that SITS can share your award. Or, if you would like to have a specific add on, you need to check that box under “PROJECTS“.

The most common reason is that the data form you want to use is not enabled by your Local Coordinator at your hospital. For more information see “How do I enable/disable a data form in SITS?”

Another scenario can be if you meant to add patient data into the SITS-QR form and clicked on “Add new patient” instead of “Add new SITS-QR-patient”.

Angels Award Program

There are several reason for you not receiving your Angels Award. Please investigate the following:

  1. Have you entered a minimun of 30 patients with stroke on set for the correct quarter? The stroke date must be for the correct quarter, it cannot be unknown.
  2. Have you agreed in your centre settings that SITS can share your data with ESO/WSO/Angels?
  3. Have you entered all 30 patients before deadline? Deadline is April 7th, July 7th, October 7th and January 7th.

To check this, please either download your SITS QR data in “Download tool” and look at the columns “creation date” and “stroke on set”, or go to “Download SITS QR result” to view your patient number and agreement to share data.
