Cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT) is an unusual form of stroke that affects young adults and is more common in women. Because of its rarity it is important to study CVT and therefore, SITS has created a separate data entry protocol for CVT in collaboration with Prof. Jose Ferro from Portugal. CVT data entry protocol was launched in February 2022. The SITS CVT protocol enables centres to document CVT risk factors, aetiology, management, and outcomes of CVT patients at your centre. The CVT data entry protocol provides an international platform to perform research on CVT patients in routine clinical practice.
